Give First

I believe the best way to grow is to help others navigate what you've already been through. Mentorship shapes our own thinking, help us stay connected to the problems that matter, most of the time those that matters for the world and let us help to build the relationships need to fix these problems.

I'm mentoring people since 2006, the year I founded GENIDEA — a youth association that connected Turkish students with international exchange programmes across Europe. Through that NGO I mentored many youngsters, we built branches in two cities, ran EU-funded projects, and sent students who had never left Turkey to debate and collaborate with peers from dozens of countries. Because exposure to different cultures changes perspectives, vision and trajectories.

During my years in enterprise tech, I mentored newcomers, fresh graduates or Jr. professionals who were landing their new chapter or navigating the transition from technical roles into product thinking. In my entrepreneurship years as well I mentored on the lessons I was learning in real time about everything entrepreneurship.

What I can help you with:

  • Moving from PM to product leadership — what actually changes when you step up, and where most people get stuck.
  • Transitioning from engineering into product management — how to use your technical depth as an advantage instead of hiding it.
  • Building hardware or deep tech products — the supply chain, certification, and go-to-market realities that software PMs never encounter.
  • Founder decisions — when to persist, when to pivot, how to think about the business when you come from a technical background.
  • Preparing for senior PM or CPO-level interviews — structuring your story and sharpening your answers.

How and where:

I mentor product managers, engineers, and founders with different organizations such as TechStars (Global), ITU Cekirdek (Nationwide), WorkUP (Nationwide) etc., via different platforms either offline, or online.

As of Mar 2026, I tend to consolidate them all and using ADPList — through structured 40-minute sessions focused on real decisions, not general advice. You bring a specific challenge, we dig into it together, and hopefully you leave with clear next steps. I'll push your thinking.
